How operators are made.

Hedronite Academy trains working DevOps engineers to specialize. We don't teach foundational DevOps; we expect you already have it. We teach what comes after: advanced practice, high-level cert prep, and four branch specializations matched to where senior engineers add the most impact.

On three cross-cutting practice areas — production engineering, security operations, and data engineering — each engineer chooses one or more specialization tracks. The tracks combine in whatever number the engineer's path requires.

Development Operations

Builds the platforms other teams ship from. Cloud architecture, Kubernetes orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, observability, and the discipline that turns a deploy from hazard into habit.

  • Cloud architecture across AWS and GCP: multi-region topology, region-aware failover, cost optimization
  • Kubernetes administration and security: cluster operations, RBAC, pod security standards, network policies
  • Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform: module design, remote state, drift detection, secrets management
  • GitOps workflows via ArgoCD and Flux, with declarative deploy pipelines
  • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, alert engineering, incident response runbooks

Agent Operations

Holds the production agent end-to-end. Training pipelines, model serving, orchestration, evaluation, and the runtime that gives an agent capability without giving it free rein.

  • Agent architecture patterns: tool-use design, planning loops, memory layers, session learning
  • Training pipelines covering fine-tuning workflows, dataset construction, eval-driven iteration
  • Model serving infrastructure with vLLM, Ollama, on-prem deployment topology and capacity planning
  • Multi-agent orchestration: governance gates, role boundaries, handoff protocols
  • Evaluation frameworks for production: regression suites, drift detection, telemetry
  • Crypto-native applications: on-chain analytics agents, trading-strategy agents, DAO governance agents
  • Cert pathway: Anthropic Certified Claude Architect, Google GenAI Engineer + Professional ML Engineer, AWS AI Practitioner

Trading Operations

Runs the desk across crypto and traditional markets. Research, signal generation, execution infrastructure, position sizing, and the risk plumbing that decides whether the desk survives its first ten-sigma move.

  • Market microstructure: orderbook dynamics, perpetual and options markets, MEV defense
  • Signal generation through feature engineering, multi-signal filtering, selectivity discipline
  • Execution algorithms: smart routing, fill reconciliation, idempotency discipline
  • Position sizing using regime-conditional Kelly, catalyst-quality discounting, pre-trade gates
  • Risk management: circuit breakers, drawdown monitoring, kill-switch discipline
  • Venue integration across DEX and CEX APIs, on-chain settlement, tokenized RWA exposure

Blockchain Operations

Engineers the infrastructure that lives on chain. Protocol-level engineering, validator economics, smart-contract architecture, on-chain data systems, and the security discipline the open mempool demands.

  • Smart contract patterns: Solidity for EVM chains, Rust and CosmWasm for Cosmos and Solana ecosystems
  • Validator operations: node setup, key management, slashing protection, upgrade coordination
